MS3 Clue 3 Finished!

July 18, 2007

MS3 Clue 3Here's the latest on the MS3 stole. (Click for big) Yes, I see (now) that there's an OOPS. It's right about at the start of Clue #2. No, I am not going to frog back. I care, but I'm realistic enough to know that this baby's going to be worn, not displayed on a wall. That means there will be drapey-ness and movement all over the place.

When someone ooohs and aahhhhs over my gorgeous stole, I will not say, "Thank you, but looky here where I messed up." Actually, if that ends up to be the ONLY place I mess up, I will be shocked, surprised and elated!!

That's right, ladies and gents. My momma din't raise a dummy.

Okay. The theme. I've got it. Now, I don't really care much WHAT the theme is, and I haven't been following the thousands of "theme guess" posts on the Yahoo group. But I did figure it out :-). If you want to see what I see, click here. That's a spoiler, everybody. If you want to continue guessing or just want to be pleasantly surprised, don't click. (heheh)

The next clue will be posted on Friday morning. Because of the Literary Event on Saturday, there will be no clue on the following Friday (but there will be three more after that). Of course, Melanie has told us that this week's clue will be more than twice the size of each of the first clues, so I expect that I'll have plenty to keep me busy in the coming weeks.

Thanks for the reality check that this is going to worn - I have several mistakes and I keep pondering whether to throw in the towel - but I want to keep on. Thanks for your inspiration!

Oh, yours is very pretty! Thanks for your comment on my blog - I'm really enjoying the process, and I will definitely keep the finished result (look at ME, being optimistic I'll cross that finish line! LOL!) I'm using beads that almost match the yarn, but have a silver lining, so you need better light to see that they're there. I'll do a semi-blocking of it & take pictures after I get a little further & hopefully everything will look clearer. (Including the goofs!) :)

I have a goof too and I like your attitude.

If it's a bee, why black and white? B/c I think insect or bee too, but I'm stuck on the black and white thing... and she keeps talkin' smack like there is going to be some crazy shaping later or something. You know, the life line and whatever line in the pattern? So. We'll keep guessing, won't we?

Have a good weekend.

Hmmm. I have no idea. I forgot about that part. Well, heck.

I suppose I could go back to the Bee pages I found online and see if I can make a connection, but I've already spent more time on the subject than I ever thought I would. :-)

Nah. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Oh, and kaykay? You seem to be quite anonymous - do you have a blog or a webpage that you'd like to share?

Thanks for visiting!
