Though you know that could apply on many (most?) occasions, this time it's official - It's my day for the It's All About Me blog hop!

Thanks to Madame Samm for the clever idea, Amy Bradley for the springboard pattern (and permission to change it up!) and special thanks to our cheerleader, Marlene. I've had sooo much fun looking at others' projects throughout the hop!

So here's what I got - this is my first try, the picture that I drew that nobody agreed looked like me.

Done with crayons (yay!), I used this tutorial I found via Pinterest to make a notebook cover.

And yes, my hair is blue like that.

Here's the back (I love that wavy fabric!)...

...and an action shot!

Hey - isn't the pencil holder/closure clever? I thought of that all by myself!!

Of course I had to do something else, too. Here's my little wallhanging. Since I finished it a whopping 43 minutes before I needed to get this posted, I didn't take a lot of time to muck with the color. It's close, though.

See? It's a sparkly chicken - guaranteed to distract me!

And speaking of sparkly chickens? I had so much fun adding bunches of thread to my little masterpiece that I completely forgot that I had embellishments for the yellow in the background. :smack:

You see, my UFO storage is most often empty Corn Dog boxes. The yellow background WAS going to be stacks and stacks of corn dog boxes. I guess I just have something to look forward to...
