Abandoned book "Breach of Promise" by Perry O'Shaugnessey

According to my little thingy on the sidebar over there, my blogoversary is two days away. I had grand plans. A giveaway. Clever and scintillating posts. Pithy and profound musings about life and living.

Uh huh.

Okay, the giveaway was definitely something on my to-do list. But I managed to get sick again - the sit/lay/stare at the TV no matter what's on kind of sick. This crud has had hold of me since Sunday. Today's the first day my voice won't scare Hell Boy. I can't remember ever having a sense of taste (food, not class).

So, no giveaway for now. Hopefully when the great green fog has cleared and my teeth stop hurting, I'll be able to come up with something clever. Maybe even pithy or profound.

For now, I give you two equally lame pictures of the incredible neckwarmer that The Girl made for me as a Winter Gift. I love it. I get lots of compliments on it. I want earrings to match those 'antique silver' buttons (hint). Oh! She bought the white cotton sweater for me (years ago), too! (Yes, the sweater is white. Told you they were lame pictures!)

Now I'm back to the couch or recliner or comfy chair to recover from the walk to the puter.

Oh! Feel free to give me ideas for what I might offer as a "Happy 3-year Blogoversary" gift! And are there giveaway gimmicks :snort: that I should employ or avoid?? Any clever themes or tie-ins come to mind? Heaven knows I'm not thinking for myself. Y'all might as well have the run of the joint while I'm out of it.

well that's a cool creation! I've never seen one of those neck warmer thingies...pretty spiffy.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Winter is such a really crappy time to get sick. As if the weather wasn't enough to get you down, you need an illness to finish you off? That's like rubbing salt on the wound, isn't it? I sure hope you feel better soon. Hang in there, Spring is coming!

LOVE the neckwarmer!!! I am crazy about anything scarfy, or cowly, or necky. You taught her well!

Take good care of yourself and get lots of rest!
Happy Blogiversary....I think you should offer that neckwarmer as a giveaway! Anyone from this "NECK of the woods" (see how clever I am today?!?!) would love to have a warm neck in the winter!

Happy Blogoversary, 3 years, wow, good for you. Time flies by so quickly whether you're having fun or not! I really like that neck warmer. I have not seen one like that before. I love the buttons too...If I think of anything earthshattering on how to celebrate, I'll let you know. During the meantime, go veg out in front of the TV and try to enjoy some downtime....Get better soon, hugs, Linda
